In Neuro Linguistic Programming there is a saying. If you keep on doing what you’ve always done, you’ll keep on getting what you’ve always got. What this means is that if you want different things in you life, you have to start doing different things.
Your life right now is a direct result of your ideas, your ways of thinking and your actions. This is fine if your life right now is exactly what you want it to be. But, if your life right now is not exactly what you want it to be, then you have to make changes in your ideas, your ways of thinking and your actions. To put it even more simply:
1) You must get a clear idea of exactly what you want. At first glance you probably think you already know. It isn’t that simple but we’ll look at that at in another post.
2) You must think about ways that you are going to make 1) happen.
3) You have to start doing things that will make 1) happen.
